How to apply for a place to start in September 2021-2022

Applications are ranked according to each school’s criteria. Surrey County Council will then determine the best offer that can be made based on the order of preferences on your application form

How to apply for a place to start in September 2022

March 2022 - Please note, the school has submitted an application to the Office for Schools Adjudicator to remove the Year 3 Class intake for September 2022. If you would like more information, please contact the school.

If you  wish to apply for an in-year place for the academic year 2022 -2023 please click here to view our admissions policy for 2022/2023.

For Reception pupils: If your child was born between 1st September 2017 and 31st August 2018 you will need to apply for a school place between 4 November 2021 and 15th January 2022. 

For Year 3 pupils: If your child is currently in Year 2 and would like to join our KS2, Year 3 Class

Applications can be made online at https://www.surreycc.gov.uk/schools-and-learning/schools/admissions

If you wish apply for a place under the criteria of Christian Faith, Pupil Premium, a member of staff or other faith, please complete the appropriate supplementary information from. These forms should be returned directly to the school (not to Surrey County Council).

You will be told of the outcome of your application on 15th April 2022.  You must accept or decline the place by 30th April 2022.

Appeals for September 2022

Primary School offers will be made on 19 April 2022

Appeals need to be lodged by 18 May 2022

Appeals are to be heard by 20 July 2022

Appeals will not be heard until after 18 May 202

Appeals lodged after these dates will be heard within 40 school days of the appeal deadline or 30 school days of being lodged, whichever is the later date.

Appellants will be sent notification of their appeal hearing at least 10 clear school days in advance of the hearing. Appellants will be sent a copy of the school case 7 clear working days in advance of the hearing.

Appellants must ensure that any further evidence not included with their initial appeal, is received by 5pm on the day notified in the letter with details of the hearing.   Any additional evidence or information received after this date might not be considered at the appeal hearing.

In year or immediate entry appeals
Appeals resulting from in year admission applications will be heard within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged.

Please note that some of these deadlines and the process for hearing appeals may change depending on the national situation as a result of Covid-19.  You will be informed on a case by case basis.

Applying for an in-year place

In year applications are made to join an existing year group within the school.  To apply for an in year place, please complete an 'In Year CMA Application Form' which can be found following this link. Form CMA needs to be completed.

If you wish apply for a place under the criteria of Christian Faith, Pupil Premium, a member of staff or other faith, please complete the appropriate supplementary information from. These forms should be returned directly to the school (not to Surrey County Council).

Notification of applications will be given within 10 school days and given written notification with 15 days.  If your application is not successful, you do have the right to appeal.

Appeals

Dates for any appeals to be made for September 2022 will be made by Surrey County Council.
